What is it?
The GTA 5 Social Club is a site where you can create your own character, play games with other people and earn rewards that you can use in GTA V for fun stuff like new cars, more clothes and upgrades for your properties. There’s also a messaging system and forums. You don’t have to create an account on here if you don’t want to, but it is useful.
How do I create an account?
There are three ways to create a Social Club account. The first is to sign up through Rockstar’s main website, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal. Another way is through your console (if you own a PS3 or Xbox 360), and lastly by downloading either version of Grand Theft Auto V on your PC. Note that you can only have one Social Club account per platform, so if you want an account for both consoles or both computers, make sure to use different email addresses. This should trigger a pop-up asking if you want to link your accounts; select yes.
How do I get started in the Social Club community?
The first thing you should do after installing GTA V is get on and check out Social Club. The game includes three different social club accounts, so if one of your friends has already played it (and created a profile), you can use theirs. If not, no worries–you can make a new one. When you start up Grand Theft Auto V for the first time, you’ll see an option to log into Social Club at startup. After that, whenever you load up Grand Theft Auto Online or Grand Theft Auto V itself, there will be an option to login in through Social Club. You’ll also have access to all sorts of stats and information about your character through here as well as access to community events like Adversary Modes or Heists that require signing in with your account.
