How to Use NeoTrace to Find Out Where You’ve Been
Do you remember the last time you took a long car ride and found yourself wondering, What was that place? or What was I doing there? If so, you’ve probably wished there was some way to figure out where you’ve been and what routes you’ve taken in your travels. Good news—there’s an app for that! When it comes to remembering the places you’ve been on foot or by car, software called NeoTrace can make all the difference in the world… not to mention your peace of mind when it comes to remembering where you parked your vehicle!
What Is NeoTrace?
NeoTrace is a GPS tracker that works with your phone and allows you to track the location of your phone at any time. Using this app, you can see where you have been, where you are now, and where you are going. This app is perfect for people who often forget their phones or who use their phones as a way of tracking their lives.
How Do I Sign Up For A Free Trial?
Before you can use the app, you’ll need to sign up for a free trial. Simply click the Start Your Free Trial button on the homepage and enter your email address. When you’re ready, confirm your email and create a password, then log in through either Facebook or Google. Here’s what it looks like when you first log in:
Your dashboard will show any locations of interest that have been captured by your phone. If you want to see where else you have been, select Explore from the left menu bar. A map will appear with pins showing different places that NeoTrace has detected that you visited at one time or another. Clicking on any of those pins will take you back to a map of where they are and all the times they were detected by NeoTrace- this is incredibly useful for finding out where I’ve gone before!
If I had gone back into Explore, I could also see when these visits happened by checking out each pin’s timestamp.
View Your Dashboard on the Web
- Make sure you’re using a browser that is supported by NeoTrace.
- Click on the orange button that says ‘Create Account’.
- Fill out the form with your email and password, then click ‘Create Account’.
- Check your email and click on the link they send you to activate your account and log in (you may need to check your spam or junk folder).
Create a Map
NeoTrace is a free mobile app that you can use on your smartphone or tablet. To use it, open the app and tap on the map icon. If you want to see where you have been in the last 24 hours, tap on 24hrs. For where you have been in the last week, tap on 7d. Tap on Track for Last for how many hours of your location history you want to view. Finally, press Start Tracking at the bottom of your screen.
Create a List of Locations
NeoTrace is an app that can help you map out your location history. It syncs with your phone’s GPS and stores all the places you go so you can see how far you’ve traveled.
- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play
- Open it, give it access to your location, and tap Start
- Your travel history will be saved as a timeline on the screen
Search for Online Businesses at Specific Locations
NeoTrace is a map-based search engine that allows you to find businesses and points of interest at specific locations. For example, if you’re in the mood for pizza, search for pizza on NeoTrace and it will show all the pizza joints nearby. Alternatively, if you want food but don’t know what kind, type food into the search bar and see what comes up.
